43 - That's the number of ladies who came to laugh, paint, and listen at the ladies retreat on February 26th and 27th. Here is what some of them said:
"I cannot imagine what I would have done today that would have refreshed me more."
"Every year the message seems to speak to what is happening in my life."
"What I liked most about today was being with wonderful women and learning more about God's word."
Ann Blackburn led us for three study sessions where we talked about our faith and what Jesus did for us on the cross. We enjoyed drama and special music and lots of laughter together painting eggs, eating pancakes and a delicious salad, and getting to know one another in small groups. Thanks to all who volunteered to make this weekend possible!

Ladies, we have a wonderful opportunity on Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th to step out of our daily routines and spend some special time with God and each other. Ann Blackburn, speaker and Bible teacher from Tennessee will bring us the message: Diving Into the Word. Ann is an energetic teacher who will leave you with new insights into God’s word and how it applies to your daily life.
We will meet in the fellowship hall, with the new comfortable chairs, good food, fellowship and laughter. We will listen to Ms. Blackburn, discuss together, have activities to laugh and get to know each other, see a drama skit and listen to music. The Mary-Martha Circle is providing snacks for Friday and some PUMC men will cook us breakfast. Lunch will be prepared by Linda Mason. This is our fourth retreat and every year our ladies comment on the opportunity this retreat provides to get to know other women, those they wouldn’t meet otherwise. Here is a comment from one retreat attendee “I enjoyed everything. It was just what I need!”
So, take this chance to come and sit at Jesus’ feet.

We will meet in the fellowship hall and end with worship in the sanctuary. Tickets are available in the office. Bring a friend and you will be entered for a special door prize. If you can’t attend both sessions, that’s okay, please come when you can.
