Small Group Curriculum Details:
Jan. 11th and 13th marked the kickoff of three new Ladies' Bible Study series.
Speaker/authoor Beth Moore follows the life of one of Christianity’s most fervent journeymen, the apostle Paul, tracing his story from childhood to martyrdom. "To live is Christ and to die is gain"
11 weekly sessions. Participants follow a workbook ($16) with daily assignments, then meet once a week in the conference room to pray, watch a Beth Moore video lesson and discuss.
Speaker/Author Beth Moore presents a lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal.
11 weekly sessions. Participants follow a workbook with daily assignments, then meet once a week in the conference room to pray, watch a Beth Moore video lesson and discuss.
Every little girl has dreams of being swept up into a great adventure, of being the beautiful princess. Sadly, when women grow up, they are often swept up into a life filled merely with duty and demands. Many Christian women are tired, struggling under the weight of the pressure to be a "good servant," a nurturing caregiver, or a capable home manager. Authors John and Stasi Eldredge invite women to recover their feminine hearts, created in the image of an intimate and passionate God.
This book by Adam Hamilton reflects the nature of our world today. We are a diverse world of people and we have a lot of questions about the nature of that diversity in the world! Included in this diversity are the various approaches to God and religion that have developed over many millennia. This study introduces the four other major world religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism; explains their basic religious views and tenets and then respectfully contrasts them with Christianity.
Hamilton states in Chapter One, “. . . it is essential that Christians seek to understand the faiths of others - to know how these faiths are similar and different from their own faith - and to use that understanding to build bridges with others so that we might grow in our faith, seek peace in our world, love our neighbor and find positive ways to share the gospel.”
Each class session will include a short video component, a chapter review and discussion questions. Study book is $11.
