About CenterStage:
Organized under the PUMC Evangelism team in 2006, this Christian drama troupe allows volunteers to create, produce and act out full-length plays that minister to its audiences. CenterStage provides wholesome entertainment that furthers God's kingdom to the entire community.
Each production has been more successful than the last, and audiences are now coming not only from Perry but also from well outside our local area. Some productions have also had a second run in Fort Valley's historic Austin Theater after their first run in the PUMC Fellowship Hall.
A variety of talents are needed for this ministry: actors, script writers, set designers, construction crew, costume designers, lighting technicians, prop managers, and general stage help.
If you would like to be a part of this expanding ministry, please contact Diane Kinsley.

Sigma Nuts Proceeds will benefit ERSLA
To date, CenterStage for Christ has raised over $10,000 which has benefitted many charities supported by PUMC.
The proceeds from Sigma Nuts will benefit the Emergency Response Services of Latin America (ERSLA) founded by local Middle Georgia resident Rodney McDonald. ERSLA provides emergency equipment and other safety items to residents in Nicaragua, recruits and trains local firefighter emergency response teams, in addtion to many other beneficial programs. PUMC recently equipped an entire village in northern Nicaragua with water filtration systems for each home.

Past charities benefitted by CenterStage for Christ productions include The American Cancer Society via the PUMC Relay for Life team and the PUMC Brian Bowen Snax Sax program which provides weekend food for disadvantaged elementary school children.
CenterStage for Christ productions are open to everyone. Groups are especially welcome. For Ticket information, call 987-1852. If you have never seen one of their productions, you will be surprised at the quality and preparation that is evident throughout the show. Patrons of these comedies never fail to experience a great evening.
